Important to know!

  • For shipments over 10,000 euros, a cargo customs declaration is required.
  • The recipient may pay additional customs fees (taxes, duties), please check in advance.
  • In Europe, all parcels are subject to customs clearance (customs threshold — 0 euros).
  • Payments are charged for all goods, including gifts and returns.
  • Customs authorities may require additional documents regarding the goods.
  • Customs payments in Ukraine depend on the value of the goods. If the invoice value of the parcel does not exceed 150 euros, no customs fees are charged.
  • If the value of the goods exceeds this limit, two main payments are charged:
✔ Import duty – 10% of the amount exceeding 150 euros
✔ VAT – 20% of the amount exceeding 150 euros, including duty

✔ Customs payment calculation formula:

  • Determine the import duty:
    (Value of goods – 150 €) × 10%
  • Calculate VAT:
    (Value of goods – 150 € + import duty) × 20%
  • Add all payments together
    Example:

Value of goods: 200 €
Import duty: (200 € – 150 €) × 10% = 5 €
VAT: (200 € – 150 € + 5 €) × 20% = 11 €
Total customs payments: 5 € + 11 € = 16 €

Please note: This is an example of a calculation that applies only to Ukraine. Other countries may have different customs rules and tax rates, so it is worth checking with the customs authorities of the country of destination.
